The Bristol Spring Congress 31st March - 1st April 2023 was held at Bristol Grammar School.

 

The Bristol Congress is an established event with around 150 entrants every year.

​

The OPEN Section had 52 players and all results are published here. The Open winner was IM Chris Beaumont with an impressive 4.5 points.. Chris is the Bristol Champion. GM Keith Arkell had an impressive score of 3.5 points out of 4 games, after an unfortunate default in the first round.

​

The Major Section had 50 players and all results are published here. The Section winner was Mark G Jones with an impressive 4.5 points. The Bristol Major trophy winner was Timothy M Jones.

​

The Minor Section had 50 players and all results are published here. This Section winner was Tom Weale with an impressive 4.5 points. Tom is also the Bristol Minor trophy winner.
