13th Steve Boniface Memorial Congress 2019

The Memorial Congress was held at Bristol Grammar School June 21st-23rd. For the first time the tournament was held in the Great Hall and the 1st board in the Open Section was live transmitted.

 

The Bristol tournament scene continues to go from strength to strength with 131 entrants. This time tournament had the record number of titled players, one GM, two IM’s, three FM's and three CM's.

OPEN Section had 49 players and all results are published here. The Open winner is Alan B Merry IM.

Major Section had 46 players and all results are published here. The Major winner is Ben L Larkin.

​

Minor Section had 36 players and all results are published here. This section winner is Piotr Zielinski .
