The Bristol Winter Congress was held at Bristol Grammar School 15th – 17th February 2019.

 

The Bristol tournament scene continues to go from strength to strength with a whopping 141 entrants to the Winter Congress – including a GM, two IM’s and a FM.

 

OPEN Section had 43 players and all results are published here. The Open winner is Keith Arkell GM while Chris R Beaumont is Bristol Champion.

Major Section had 47 players and all results are published here. The Major winner is Graham Ashcroft while Bristol Major trophy winner is Aron Saunders.

Minor Section had 51 players and all results are published here. This section and trophy winner is Peter Marks .
