The Bristol Winter Congress 14th – 16th February 2020 was held at Bristol Grammar School.

 

The Bristol Congress is an established event with around 140 entrants every year.

​

The OPEN Section had 45 players and all results are published here. The Open winners were Keith Arkell GM, Alex Belsley, Thomas Brown, Alan Merry IM and Jonah Willow FM who all finished on 4 points. Alex Belsley is the Bristol Champion.

​

The Major Section had 48 players and all results are published here. The Section winners were Gareth Cullen and Gwyn Havard with an impressive 4.5 points. The Bristol Major trophy winner was Gareth Cullen.

​

The Minor Section had 48 players and all results are published here. This Section winners were Geoff Ainsley, Lana Boztas, Anthony Carver and John Webb. They all finished with 4 points. The Bristol Minor trophy winner was Anthony Carver.
