The Venue
6th Form Common Rooms at Bristol Grammar School are located in University Road, Bristol, BS8 1SR.
Pedestrian entrance via Gate C. Gate C code available three days before the first match!
FREE parking between Gates A & D!
From the one way system around the Triangle at Clifton turn left into University Road (NatWest and Browns are on opposite corners). After 300 meters there are two entrances to the Grammar School on your left. First entrance is Gate C (pedestrian entrance, purple arrow) and the second is Gate D (car park, purple arrow). The car park is now between Gates A and D and spaces are limited! (see the map below)
The roads adjacent to Bristol Grammar School (Elton, Elmdale, University road) are now in the Central (Parking) Zone and parking charges are at all time!
The far part of Woodland Road (beyond St Michael's Park road) is in the Kingsdown Zone which allows parking weekdays after 7 and on Sundays.

Friday
This time chess is competing with another event! Parking could be limited!
In the Kingsdown Zone it is possible to park after 6 pm and pay £1 until 7 pm and then is free all evening.

Saturday
BGS parking could be busy in the morning as there might be other activities at the school.

It is reasonable to expect sufficient parking spaces at BGS.
